Attended motorcycle rally here with 400+ people. Plenty of room and grassy camping spots. Local high school wrestling team served coffee, breakfast and dinners in the snack bar which was very convenient. Showers had enough hot water. Vendors and seminars were held in two large main buildings. The only drawback is the slightly steep uphill main road that leads to the arena and upper areas of the site, would be difficult for disabled or wheelchairs to manage.

We went to the fairgrounds to go to the mining museum but unfortunately it was closed but there time we got there.
Lots of parking available.
Restrooms are in a separate building outside the exhibition hall.
Pretty much what you'd expect from a small town's fairgrounds in an off season (late March): not much happening.

It's a great place to have a good time. Camping trips, clean showers and rest areas. Big enough for events, wedding's, BBQ, VERY clean and helpful people. Nice place to stay or visit.

Camped for the night here when all the campsites in Yosemite were full. There were a few others camping with tents who were quiet and respectful at night. The area felt safe and clean. There are clean bathrooms and grills to cook on. Nobody works there in the evening/morning, though, so if there was a problem you wouldn’t necessarily be able to report it or get help easily.
