Alameda County Fairgrounds

Awesome place. Huge to say the least. Was there for rugged maniac event. They could have done a better job at directing traffic and signs to right area as we were all turned around as there is so many enterances. But I don't feel this is the fairgrounds fault so this received a five star as a very nice area with a lot of perks and events

Many things to do here. It's not just the fairgrounds... Many attractions including many Goodguys car shows. It is also a very popular place for people to park their cars and commute to their place of work. There is also a train station across the road that many commuters use to catch the train to work. All in all so many things to do here. Take a look around and plan your day..

Nice place to stay with a trailer or RV. Must be self contained. Showers and laundry room are clean. Near to downtown and the Ace train. You can only smoke or walk your pet outside the gate. Heavy rain tends to flood sections of the RV park.

Different events are held here periodically. I came to the fairgrounds for a viewing of an movie created by the deaf community (which was pretty great). Numerous other events take place here as well and you can always look up online for what events or activities will be happening in the near future.

Myself and three friends went here to play bingo. They have paper sheets as well as computers. I had never played both at the same time so it was a bit confusing at first and some workers stayed close by to help us which was great! The only downside was that we couldn't hear one of the callers well and another caller was calling the numbers to fast which caused some patrons to tell out "slow down"!
