Solano County Fair Association

We go to this place for the dog shows. It's a good venue for that, but it would be nice if they had a few more restrooms. More shady space would also be nice but I realize that is not easily solved. For dog shows we only need to pay for parking and not admission.

This place is a place of reflection to me. My father taught me to ride a motorcycle on this property when I was eleven years old. My family attended the fair yearly since my childhood. My father won many black and white photography awards there through the years back in the day. Max Baer, boxing champ, held me up when I was one year old with one hand saying, "This kids gonna be a champ someday!" And I got to see Geronimo and his wife there on horseback in full Native American garb. This all happened in my childhood. I am now sixty-four years old! I volunteer five nights a week to guard the current Chinese Lantern Festival during closed hours.

Good for big events but too much traffic having one person collecting parking fee.

Plentiful parking, but a long distance away from venues. Facilities are ageing but we'll kept.

You have to go see the Lantern Festival it was awesome a little bit expensive but the kids love it everything light up all the rise it is a very exciting place to go for the spring break and the parking is $8
