Yolo County Fairgrounds

Everything seemed cool. There was a highland games here. The field had good space -- the grass was nice. I don't know how much I can attribute weather to a spot but it was a nice overcast day. Not too hot and not too cold. It was just right. The fairgrounds are near the freeway so it was easy to find.

Great place for family fun. We visited for Farm connection day which was great for kids. Lots of animals and plants and information. The grounds were kept clean they had lots of different things on display. The kids love the tractors and the fire engines also they loved all of the police vehicles including boats and ATVs.

I usually attend the Annual Scottish Games here. The fairgrounds has a nice layout works well. There are ample bathrooms to accommodate the crowds. The one downside is the loss of trees over the last several years due to disease and critter activity. If attending during hot weather, because of fewer trees, I would recommend wearing a hat or the use of a sun umbrella.

I attended the Woodland Highland Games for the first time this past weekend, and I loved it! The fairgrounds were easy to find, and parking was so streamlined. Getting tickets was fast, and the fairgrounds were lovely. I'm looking forward to attending more events in the future.

We went to the fairgrounds for the Woodland Celtic Games. The grounds are nice with lots of green grass and shady trees. Several locales for bathrooms meant there were not very long lines as us usually expected.
