Nevada County fairgrounds is a very beautiful relaxing place to visit. Generally free to get in unless there is an event. There is a lake that you can fish and release if you have a fishing license. Great place for RV camping. Very friendly people. Come visit and you will not be disappointed.

Nice fairgrounds and RV Park. The sites closest to main road hear some traffic but the trees. Are nice and there's a big pond to walk around with dogs.

Lots of great events throughout the year. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Love the layout, shade trees, places to rest, and so much more. Parking lot for all.

Clean, great helpful staff. Very close to downtown Grass Valley. Some more private & spacious sites, and among the beautiful pine trees for trailers. With 30 amp. and
water. Pet friendly, and safe for children.

The fairgrounds themself are nice and well kept. We went to the fair and parking was organized, but we had to park far away, it was hot, and the kids complained about the walk there and back the entire time. The fair offered what typical fairs do, but everything is way over priced. The pricing is so ridiculous there. I'm not going to take the kids this year cause it burned a hole in my pocket. Not worth it to get bracelets, even with the discount we had, kids didn't even want to ride most the rides or they weren't big enough. All the other things they wanted to do were separate from the rides and everything was $20/kid. I heard the campground is really nice there and open all year round. It seems they have a lot of other events that sound really cool. Some group was trying to stop a gun show from coming there, I hope they didn't. It's not like only murderers go there to buy guns, it's mostly enthusiast. But they think it will bring death and destruction to Grass Valley, maybe they should worry about the meth addicts who break into people's homes. Plus you can't just buy a gun and take it right then and there. So hopefully the people who run the fairgrounds aren't easily swayed to turn their backs on the community who goes to some event they offer that is peaceful.
