Just had brunch here today and I loved it! We went for my sister’s birthday and had so much fun. I had the crispy chicken and waffles with French toast on the side. It was to die for! The watermelon mimosa was really good too! I’ll definitely be coming back again <3
Local unique fusion of Mexican, Asian, and American fare. Raw bar offers sushi options featuring choices you won’t see anywhere else. Hearty brunch menu. We had more of the traditional Mexican options, but guacamole has 2 options with available seafood. House margaritas are light and flavorful, great for a summer day. To go cocktails available. Seating in here is awesome, it is definitely a busy restaurant, but is broken up in such a way to provide a fairly intimate atmosphere with a nice view. Portions are hefty and a traditional entree could easily feed 2. Skip the churro waffles, they come off a bit overcooked even though they’re very pretty.
Food is average. We enjoyed the nachos but it only went downhill from there. I ordered the grilled chicken street tacos which were nothing special + lacked flavor. We also ordered a chicken fajita - they said they were making another order which was taking up the whole pan so it would be an ADDITIONAL 15 minutes after all of us had already gotten our food before we would receive the fajita. And while the manager herself told us, it almost seemed expected that we cancel the order. Terrible service.
Came all the way from south jersey to try this place but it wasn’t as great as I expected.first my waitresses wasn’t that great.you can tell she was new to her job because she didn’t come around much to make sure everything was okay she took forever just to come and take our order ,it took a long time for us just to get our drinks.I asked my waitress what there sweatiest wine was and she told me she doesn’t know she’s only 19.But she didn’t even say let me go ask the bartender so I didn’t feel like that was professional.I ordered street tacos and she never brought them I’m pretty sure she forgot about them but I wasn’t going to make it a big deal because I just wanted to hurry eat and leave.the Rice was very mushy which I don’t really like.the enchiladas we’re okay not that great , I feel like it tasted a-little like plastic the beans were okay.this place felt like a college vibe like all younger people .one thing I will say is that there Guacamole was amazing. They definitely need new staff though people that know more about there workplace and what’s there favorites on their menus and more experienced
Visited for dinner and was seated immediately. The service and food were good. I really enjoyed the Zero Proof nonalcoholic options available and recommend the Strawberry-Rhubarb & Basil. The Octopus Guac was also a great appetizer. Overall, it's a good option for dinner or drinks if you're by the Riverfront. Parking: Limited street parking available.
A nice meal on the waterfront. Enjoyable drinks. Enjoyable food. Del Pez is a gastropub with a Mexican twist, it is not a Mexican or Latin restaurant. Everything is extremely Americanized... Which isn't a bad thing, but it's not necessarily the "go to" place for a Mexican or Latin cuisine craving. You will get a good drink and good food, but not a good Mexican dinner because that's not what they do. As long as you have the right expectations, it is still very much worth a visit
Went for brunch and was very impressed! The drinks were reallly good and the food was delicious! We had the guacamole with grilled octopus on top which was interesting. The crab quesadilla was very good as well. Our waitress brought over a sampler since it was our first time in and my favorite was the beer cheese as well as corn cake!! Stop in and give them a try.
We had a great time here!! The food is reasonably priced and the service was great. Our waiter, Billy, was friendly and knowledgeable. I personally preferred the street tacos on their menu vs the other tacos. However, the tortilla for the street tacos was made from corn. It was ok but it didn't taste great. The specialty tacos were great except for the Texas Steak which was over seasoned. Lastly, you definitely want to get the Grande Nachos...the picture doesn't do it justice but you want to try it.
We had a lot of fun here! The food was delicious! The Diablo Guacamole was very good and very spicy! The Carnitas Fries were also delicious the beer cheese is so good. My husband had the Short Rib Chimichangas and I had the Chimichurri Salmon.Dine in: Yes
