Dells Army Duck Tours

The WWII army duck tours are a must stop in the Wisconsin Dells. The ducks are amphibious craft which will take you from land, into water (and back to land)and. The scenery is beautiful, and our pilot, Martin, did a great job explaining the geographic formations as well as explaining the history of the ducks, and their use in WWII and beyond. At the end of the tour, duck (bird) whistles and postcards are for sale, along with other various merchandise.

Tom was a fantastic tour guide! He told fabulous duck jokes and kept it exciting because the sights aren't all that interesting. The Ducks are very slow, so you do need some entertainment. The ride was smooth enough that my partner who suffers from severe motion sickness was fine. Watch out for the pushy sales at the end of a pathetic green screen photo. $21 for not even a real duck in the photo! You are better off driving to the local Information Centre and taking one with the Duck out the front.

This is a must-do when going to the Dells. Take an amphibious tour, learn about the local and geological history and plenty of other great information. Martin was an amazing tour guide. He is witty, knowledgeable and super smart.

Had a great time with Lydia as our driver. The kids really enjoyed the water section. Adults liked the attention the kids were getting from Lydia. Fun activity for the family.

Duck tour is the best attraction in Wisconsin dells...it is an amazing experience!!!Driving and boating in a same duck is too exciting...the moment when we flip in to the water,it’s so fantastic and the tour guy Mr.wille is too funny,it’s really worth visiting this place...
