Der Dutchman Restaurant

The food here is amazing! I've been here multiple times and it never seems to disappoint! The buffet is by far the best, you have so many choices to choose from! I wish they would have had baked beans last time, but either way it was great! The service I had was also amazing, and she was very attentive! They have a giftshop here which is also really nice! Some things upstairs may be a bit on the pricey side but still really nice! All-in-all I definitely recommend​ this places! One of my favorites in Ohio! :)

Family came from out of town,So Der Dutchman has great family dinner fried chicken buffet, plus a menu, a great salad bar. Awesome desserts. A general store w good prices, they make everything from scratch. And you can buy some stuff in the store.take home a pie their delicious!:) we topped off our night with the Kids and the grandchildren with some rock candy! Enjoy home cooked dinner here!. All the waiters and, waitresses are very nice, we had a party of 14. We had a good waiter, we were pleased with our service.

We had the buffet, which was good, but nothing was great. I suspect choices from the menu might be a lot better than the buffet. Staff was friendly and service was fine. Clean place, nice shop. Certainly glad we chose it over the nearby fast food choices, just nothing we got particularly impressed us. I'd go back, but I'd definitely try a menu item.

This restaurant has great Amish comfort food. Only way to put it. Anything you order will be delicious. And don't forget to order a piece of pie, even if you have to take it to go. They always have many flavors to pick from. They have a gift shop and bakery. The cinnamon rolls are the bomb!! If you don't live nearby, it's a pretty drive to get there.

Food was honestly alright. Nothing mind blowing or anything... But it's the customer service that is absolutely phenomenal. Best service I've ever gotten in a restaurant ever. Ashley, my server, worked her side of the room with ease, taking everyone into account all of the time. No one's drink at any table ever got empty, and her smile and attention to detail making sure everything was great for everyone really won me over. You just can't find customer service like that anymore.
