Menya Ramen

Half year ago, Best Japanese noodles in Columbus! And my friend and I came here every weekend even we need to drive for nearly half an hour. However, recently there’s many not very pleasant changes. The noodles are not as good as before and the bowls are plastic. I was impressed that the good service with no tipping establishment before. Now it’s like a fast food restaurant...

Always delicious. Usually eat in but carried out tonight. Made me fresh tofu and everything was as delicious at home as there. Usually get vegetarian and my husband loves the black tonkastu.

Amazing food!!!!! The staff here are flat out top notch!! They were so attentive and friendly. It made my wife and children feel like we were part of the family. We are especially fond of the lady at the front. We will most definitely return.

Went there recently. I ordered the Spicy Sesame Noodles. The noodle texture was alright, but the "broth" was more like a sauce. The sauce itself was pretty salty. Other things of note: The utensils and the bowls are now all disposable.

They recently changed things up, you now order and pay at the cashier first (like a fat food restaurant) then they bring the food to your table. I don't particularly like it, it takes away from the atmosphere it had IMHO. Besides that, the food is still good. Update 02/28/2018: They've changed things up again. Now it's more of a "fast food" style. You order and pay at the register then pick it up at the counter. This severely cheapens the experience and makes customer interaction very impersonal IMHO. I liked it better when servers like Christian made it feel like home (he was my frequent server that would know my order by heart). Honestly, I'm less likely to go back any time soon with this change.
