Loved hanging out at Deviate Brewing with our dog in their spacious brewery. The brewery offers a great selection of beers of all styles that includes seasonal and staple beers. They do not offer any food choice outside of local chips and pretzels however they allow you to bring in your own food. We enjoyed our dinner and a flight of beers each. Loved the beer so much we took home a couple bombers of their barrel aged beer. Check them out!
Good vibes at a local watering hole. They have plenty of options for everyone. Be sure to check out the art made by local artists; just about everything is for sale. There's a patio with corn hole if you feel like tossing some bags. There's no kitchen, but they offer Greek's pizza by the slice, bread sticks, and Broadripple bagel chips. Everyone is pretty talkative, so you may just make some new friends. Enjoy!
I stopped in randomly to enjoy a beer on a hot Oct afternoon. Perfect weather for a refreshing beer! The bartender was friendly, welcoming, & super helpful with the drink descriptions. I tried the raspberry & key lime sour & it was just perfect! They also have an over-abundance of peppers on the patio that we were able to pick and enjoy if we wanted. I highly recommend this brewery!
Great selection of beers. A lot of everything. And a lot of flavor in each one. Will definitely make this a regular stop when I'm in the area.
Since I tasted their beers when they opened, I have made it a point everytime I come to Indy to do 2 things. Visit my sister and drink a beer at Deviate Brewing. Place is cool. Glad to see they expanded and are serving some hot food items. First time I came here was great beer and stale popcorn. Pet friendly.
I’m from Chicago and this is my favorite brewery! Every time I come down to Indy I make sure I come here. Love their beers and the atmosphere!
One of the better breweries in Indy, and definitely the best in the area when it comes to big stouts and dark beers. No one else is close on these styles. Lots of unique beers that change regularly here - not really a “house beer list” kind of place.
I loved it and was pleasantly surprised. Small spot but it had great beer. The Juicy Caboosey was a standout with the Brut 'le Juice coming in as a close second. The guys were working there were also friendly and helpful. Whoever founded this must love beer and art...because you've got beer cans galor and art for sale on the walls. If you're not sure what to get opt for a flight.
I. Love. Beer. Just to put that out there... Deviate is the one brewery that we are excited to visit because every time there is something new, inventive, and delicious! Unbelievable talent these guys have making beer...AND...there is always something for everyone...light, dark, hoppy, etc. Btw...this was a blueberry IPA...might have even been a DIPA...absolutely spot on flavor!
This beer is some of the best I have beer had. And I come from a top beer state up north in Michigan. Way to go deviate. You crush all the breweries in Indianapolis. Phenomenal beer. Blown away by Jalepeno Cornbread cream ale. Every beer on my flight was excellent. Made yourself a new local.
