Had the barbacoa sopes, Chile relleno w.shredded chicken waitress said that was better than grilled, pastor pineapple tacos, shrimp quesadilla... the chips were fresh, salsa mild... the green sauce was spicy n yummy. The food was pretty decent. I was expecting more flavor from the Chile relleno but it was still decent. The pastor was tender and flavorful. The sopes was thick, slightly crispy and had a sweet taste. I didn't try the quesadilla but my friend said it was ok. Customer service was great. Staff was very attentive, even the ppl that weren't working tables/our table were helpful.
The margarita came out first- it was big and delicious! By the time my food came out I had a nice little buzz. The quesadilla was amazing- perfectly made. The salad bowl was different but great. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything exactly like it. It had lettuce, sour cream, tomato’s, peppers, rice, and your choice of meat. My favorite of everything was definitely the veggie taco!! The veggies were cooked and seasoned to perfection. I literally can’t wait to go back.
Stopped by tonight for dinner.... the food was excellent and our waitress Lola was very good.. I will stop by again soon..Wednesday. Well until next time signing off Two Peas..
Worth every penny. Service was beyond excellent, food was amazing, and the restaurant was clean. Highly recommend. Easily the best tacos in Houston.Food: 5/5
The food is good most of the time and I've been going here for over a year. They forget stuff and when you tell them about it they act like your're lying! Just went to place an order and they said they would not service me anymore... Really? Y'all made the mistakes on my orders and I should not have to double pay!!! That's not good business. If you forget an item you should make it up by redoing or giving the credit for the same item since it's already paid for. It's not fair to me that you want to refuse my business for to your mistakes. The customer service is very bag depending on who you get done are nice but the two that are very mean stand out. When I mentioned about my last order she is the one who acted like of lying I even showed them my bank statement proof I went there. I get the same think all the time. If you want excellent customer service and your order to be right do not go here!
They really make it hard for me to give them my money. Everytime we order there is an issue. Forgetting items or not knowing their menu. Tonight was the last time. Really wanted to support local. Save yourself the frustration and don't go here!
I just finished eating here I got three tacos, a Cuban taco, tripas and lengua. My Cuban taco had a rock in it and when I told the manager she said there's no way that could have happened, I wasn't trying to avoid paying I was just letting her know but her attitude was really disappointing, like making it seemed like I was lying. Very upsetting this type of service.
I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews but the food was inauthentic and lacked flavor. I ordered 5 fajita taquitos and a caldo de pollo. The taquito meat was incredibly bland and dry, even after adding cilantro, onion and salsa. Nothing could’ve saved these, except maybe some seasoning. The chicken from the caldo seemed as though it had been reheated multiple times and the caldo was overly salted. They also included charro beans which looked like salsa at first glance - these were made with canned tomato paste... not authentic or flavorful. I can tell by the sign near their drive-thru that reads “check that your order is right before you leave” that they don’t usually make their orders correct or to good taste. The person attending the drive-thru was nice... one star for their customer service.
Had a Parillada Mixta carnitas, shrimp, chicken, beef. Generous amount of carnitas, 1/2 chorizo, 4 shrimp, 3 strips of chicken, 4 strips of beef - all over a large bed of onions and green bell peppers. Carnitas were the winner of the dish - flavorful, melt in your mouth and several pieces had crispy edges. Shrimp were unremarkable. Came with outstanding charro beans, and small amount of guac over shredded lettuce and small amount of salsa. A spicy avocado'ish sauce in a small cup also. Price was very reasonable for the quantity.
The enfrijolada veracruzanas are one of my new favorite breakfast dishes in Houston. The salsa is also super good.Food: 5/5
