I'm not a huge fan of Dick's because of the guns they sell but besides that they are a good place to get things for other sports. My son did soccer for a season and we bought him a ball and comes. We've also purchased chairs to sit and watch him play. The staff... they've never greeted me the times I went in. When I wanted help there was no one around to ask either.

Quick in and out for all sporting needs. Staff was very helpful and informative.

Stopped in yesterday. 3 people in the sneaker/shoe department no one asked if I needed help and I needed ideas for running shoes. I ended up going to another store.
