This church is a warm, welcoming community of faith and exploration of our relationship with God. Those who pass judgment without even having attended a service are laughable. God knows who God's true children are - those who love without reservation and don't condemn others out of hand. The members of this congregation are truly God's children.
I am well aware of this church, and remember when it was built. It was radical. Today, the building looks like it was built yesterday. Wonderful people. Beautiful facilities. The inside is so breathtaking, at the Christmas service i attended, there was just a simple, beautifully decorated Christmas tree right under the spectacular, and still contemporary today, stained glass windows. That was all that was needed. It is one of, if not the, most beautiful church in Phoenix, and probably Arizona. Just wonderful unjudgemental people that accept everyone, in every way. I just love going there. I am not a member, but I go to their sister church. First Congregational. Downtown. We are the same. So come in, if anything to only enjoy the spectacular, and stunning beauty of the surroundings, and maybe you might want to come back. What a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours on Sunday. Have a great day!
Great church! Very progressive. Pastor Tony is amazing. Practical messages with occasional humor, very relatable. Music is very well- performed and powerful. This is an up and coming church, for sure. Great for young families and LBGT friendly.
I must first say that I have never attended this church for a service on Sunday or any other time. But why I am even giving a review and only one star is because of some of the signs/banners the church puts up outside by their church sign. As a Christian, I find what some of these banners say to be offensive because they do not match up with what I read in the Bible about our Christian faith and I think that all who drive past and read the banners are getting a false picture of some Christian beliefs.
My boyfriend broke down while driving a work truck in your parking lot, and not only did no one offer to help, employees locked the doors on him and his driver partner to prevent them from seeking help inside. Thanks for making it clear that your parish doesn't help people in need; pretty sure Jesus would have at least offered. I will make sure everyone who asks knows about this terrible experience
I've been going to this church for years for lots of reasons, but the Music is my favorite part. They have three different services: Sat. at 5:30 pm, Sun. at 9:00 am, and 11:00 am. Most Weds. nights at 5:30 they have a social dinner and activities thing called Taste & See, with activities/child care for the kids.
Progressive. All welcome. Bright young vibrant pastor. Worth your while to visit, worship and join in fellowship.
It. Was AWESOME/ LIT FAM THEY HAVE AN AMAZING INDOOR WATER PARK, AND I LOVE EATING THE DELICIOUS GOURMET STREAK/SUSHIBAR and the money as a gift. Thx y'all!
