I have tried a few dim sum places and so far this is my favourite. It gets busy quick went on a Sunday around noon tables are pretty close together compared to other places, however, I found the selection and taste overall the best. They have relatively quick service, a good selection of both meat and vegetarian options, and if you ask for vinegar, mustard, hot sauce etc they quickly bring it to you. Will definitely go back when I am craving dim sum again! Oh, and just a quick walk from the train station!
Delicious dumplings and soups! There was a line outside that moved fairly quickly, managed by an attentive host. Easy to order menu. Casual dining. Great for brunch and fair price.Food: 5/5
Quick service and beautiful dim sums at a reasonable price point. Love the assortment platters. We ordered both the vegetarian as well as meat platters and both shone in their own ways. I’ve never had veggie dim sum this flavorful and well thought out. Each one had a beautifully layered flavor profile that isn’t boring or one dimensional. The staff was also kind in letting us have our reservation despite 2 ppl not showing up. We came on a Thursday night and the space was not too busy despite being in Chinatown. We were well attended to and walked away feeling very satisfied about the experience!
Good Dim sum, the dipping sauces are different but pleasant. The vinegar sauce made everything tatse lighter and sweeter than with soy and chili oil. The portion sizes seemed a little small but when your from Texas everything seems a little smaller when you leave, lol.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
The dim sum was OK. Some were better than others. I like our usual place much better but we had an incentive so we decided to give this place a try. It’s quieter and the tables are more spread out so that was good. The wait staff are indifferent. The host did his best to seat everyone and was very nice.Recommended dishesPork Dumplings, Pork Buns
If you get a chance to be in china town near the south side of manhattin. Get some awesome classic chinese Dim sum. Just like tapas or small plates. You will find som awesome food at this place. We had a tabe next to the front window so we could pepole watch while enjoying the food it was over the topamd all the traditional dishes are served. Don't miss this joint amd trust me you won't be disappointed. Very attentive service and dishes came fast and hot.
The dumplings here were okay. Some were better than others but just okay is all I can come up with. In addition, we were randomly served tea although we had not ordered any. At first, I presume this must be complementary but lo and behold it was included on our check. Maybe on another day with a different server things are would be better however three stars is all I can muster.
A pleasant surprise. It was extremely busy but they managed. I enjoyed the dimsum very much today. Delicous authentic options. However, make sure you get everything you ordered. We had to adjust the bill since they charged us for 7 items we didn’t receive.
Exquisite excellence describes our experience perfectly. 5 stars only because I can't give them six! The service was impeccable and each dish was a delight. It was nonstop noshing as we sampled each offering. Even the tea was outstanding! I was too caught up in the joy of dining here to take pictures. Next time!
Small portions are the reason why I wouldn't come back. For the relatively higher price point, the sticky rice $5.25 and siu mai 4 for $6.75?! wasn't worth it. The siu mai are the size you buy frozen at the market small. The northern pan fried dumpling had 1.5 bites of filling and we reached the end... with plenty of skin left. Not a big fan of dense dumpling skin esp when the filling is so sparse. See pics. Our fourth dish was the baked pork bun that never came out because they had apparently ran out. That's fine but no one told us. We finished our three other dishes, waited 10 minutes then asked about the missing buns. Okay you're out so I guess we'll take the check and go to may wah...
