Quick service. The fried chicken is one of the best in the area not many options, but the chicken fingers were dry definitely needed the dipping sauce and the cornbread tasted like it was...fried? Crunchy, oily outside and dense, almost paste-like. There are high chairs if you bring young kids.

A little AC and less greasy tables would bump this place up to 5 stars for a solid lunch spot. The $9 lunch meal is great especially since the chicken is good. Would go again but bring back to the office to eat.

Stale cookies. Half cooked chicken. Unateable Mac and cheese. Never again. The only descendant about place are the cashier and the front line person. Never again.

Great rotisserie chicken! Very juicy and seasoned well. Haven't tried the fried chicken The Mac n cheese is great, too. Super cheesy! $9.00 lunch special is a very good deal, especially in this part of town.

Read the fine print! I've been eating at this place for over ten years. It used to be a hole in the wall but has expanded. The food used to be fresh, juicy and flavorful. But, this last time it was dry and tasteless. I was so disappointed because I used to love this place. I sucked up my bad experience and asked for the bill. To my surprise the price was very high than on the menu. I did not notice that 6.75 was for my dry my dry piece of chicken and having a side was an additional charge. The menu is written in a way to make it seem that the price includes the sides mentioned. But when I took a second look it stated the sides are additional in small print. I didn't even notice it. You have to read the new menu like a legal document. Very carefully!

The fried chicken was not very crunchy, but the chicken itself was cooked well and tasted fine, albeit not having any spices on it. The skin of the meat felt like really cheap breading. Didn't add to the lack of flavor and do not come expecting authentic soul food.

Their chicken is delicious. I mean really good. But holy.. is it hot in there. It's basically a furnace. My coke turned warm in about three minutes. The workers are sweating too. At least they have a fan though. There's this small hallway of an entrance so there's no real air flow. Prepared to find a place to sit outside or only come here in the winter.

The chicken is great. But sweet lord the mac & cheese will be the greatest thing ever likely to grace your taste buds. The cheese sauce, and amalgam of slow-melted french white cheddar and love, will caress each taste bud individually as you experience what is without a doubt the greatest mac and cheese in the world, by a significant margin. Honestly, the chicken is great, but by this point whenever I go, I only get mac & cheese since eating anything but the mac & cheese is, quite frankly, stomach space wasted.

Oh man, this is one of my favorite places to order food from. The chicken is a bit pricy, but very delicious and worth it. I can't say anything about the actual place as I've only ordered delivery, but in terms of just food. I recommend it. One thing to note, their corn bread isn't sweet and is a bit greasy. It threw me off the first time and I'm not a huge fan of it, but everything else I've tried from there has been awesome.
