Divine Surface

Great selection. Excellent design help. So why the 2 stars? The installers did a terrible job with our floor and when the flaws were pointed out to the company nothing substantial was done to improve the terrible install job. Gaps and sections that have not settled, though we were told that they would. Again, great selection and fantastic design work but the installers used by the company for the floors are not good at what they do.

We recently remodeled our kitchen countertops and backsplash. I’m so glad I found Devine Surface. Entire experience was great from beginning to end. There was a small issue with one piece of countertop after it was set, but Mitch came right over the next day and was able to fix it before the backsplash went in. And Oleg, who did the tile, was always smiling and so friendly. He was quite meticulous with his work, and it shows. Thank you Devine, for a job well done. Would highly recommend!

This was probably the most stress-free remodel for us. The crew came in on the scheduled date and knocked it out in one day! They've consulted with us on a few unforeseen nuances and we were able to make the decision right there and then. The floors look amazing and look better than we have imagined. Thanks guys! You rock.

I am a novice and Divine's team patiently puts up with me as I ask questions and want to see different options for my home. Can't say enough about their attention to detail. Ask for Mitch he will help you through all the choices you have.

I will give two stars to Divine Surface solely for the fact that they source very nice stone from another company called Bedrosians. Otherwise, I don't have much positive to say about Divine Surface. Perhaps if you are a contractor and you are used to dealing with companies like this, they are fine, but as a homeowner spending 7k, I expect detailed information about my purchase, install, and every single design question I have. The person we worked with there was vague, inconsistent, and challenging to communicate with. We were never consulted on the cut-out for the sink and when we complained that we didn't get the flush edging that even the template that came with the sink suggested, we were told "well everyone wants it this way so that's what we do." Well, we are not everyone and we're the ones paying for it so I expect to be consulted. The reply made me feel gaslit and silly for even asking rather than taking the time to work through it. They installed a piece of backsplash where we told them not to - an entire piece of quartz super-glued to your wall where you didn't tell them to put one - can you imagine? We were so tired of dealing with them at that point that we just left it there. The caulking done on the backsplash behind our sink was discolored and cracking one week after they did it - my own husband who is not a contractor re-did it himself and its 100x better. For 7k, I expect good caulking. To top it off, the folks they use for installation which are contracted by Divine and I don't believe direct employees are the rudest people I have ever worked with. They came to my house without masks on, and as a woman home alone I felt uncomfortable asking them to put them on, so I told this to our contact at Divine Surfaces. To his credit, he did talk to them but boy oh boy did that installer make a show of putting on his mask when he came back to our house to re-install the sink. He grunted short responses to my questions, wouldn't look me in the eye and made sure I saw allllll the effort it took him to remove his shoes for my hardwood floors and put a mask on. I actually felt scared being alone in the house with him, he was that rude. Overall, this company lacks communication and more importantly, compassion or interest in their customers needs. My advice - source the same quality products from Bedrosians directly or from a different company, skip the hassle of going through Divine Surface.

I am in LOVE with my new soapstone kitchen countertop from Divine Hardwood & Stone. I worked with David and he was so friendly and helpful every step of the way. His guys were very professional and experienced and it shows in the end product. They had a really quick turn around time and the price was very reasonable compared to some other places in town. David was always easy to get a hold of and they were very accommodating with my schedule. I would definitely recommend these guys if you're looking for new counters! Tip: For a small kitchen, I found my stone at a remnant yard in SE Portland and then had Divine do the fabrication and installment--saved me a lot of money in the end!

David Horn and Divine Hardwood & Stone did an excellent job in installing my new carrara marble bath counter top. They were responsive to questions and planning when other fabricators would not return my calls. Installation was quick and easy, no long wait for an install date. Their price was competitive beating out the other quotes I received. I highly recommend Divine Hardwood & Stone for your fabricating needs. I plan on using them again on my next bathroom remodel.

Mitch and the crew did a great job on the soapstone that we found at EleMar. Their price was competitive, and they were able to install it quickly. I was very impressed when they ran into a problem with our slab. It cracked along one of the veins, which had created a weak point in the sink area. Mitch was totally upfront about it and offered to replace the material. Because we had a very unique piece, we opted to let them try to repair it instead, and they did a great job of epoxying it together and reinforcing it with steel in the bottom. I don't think anyone would notice the repair if it weren't pointed out, so I'm happy about that. They took extra care when bringing it into the house to avoid putting any stress on it. All in all, they did very nice work.

Thank you again for our beautiful floors and for all of your help in picking out the right style we were wanting that is durable enough for dogs and kids - it is exactly what we wanted! We are so happy with how it turned out - your team did a great job! The floors look beautiful and totally transformed the house! Purchased new quartz counters for one of our kitchens. After checking with 3 other places they had the best price, and the product we were looking for. The service was very good, the installers were, professional, careful, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. We were very happy with both the results and experience we had with Divine and would recommend them to anyone looking for new counters.
