Dogwerks Training Kennel

I owe Marielle a huge thank you for training my 1.5 year old strong-willed border collie/husky mix. He is an extremely energetic and social dog who is very sweet but likes to hunt deer and voles. After six days with Marielle, he listens substantially better and doesn't run after deer anymore! He is still a work in progress, but Marielle gave my dog (and me) the tools for training. Very happy with Dogwerks!

If I could give millions of stars to Marielle, I would. She radiates COMPETENCE and LOVE and an ability to THINK about what a particular dog needs for a good life. In the case of my dog she has paid a laser level of attention to her idiosyncrasies and fears that have gotten in the way of my dog fully enjoying her life and has miraculously helped her relax and respond to commands. Marielle has the PATIENCE and SKILL and COMMITMENT that are essential in helping to ensure that dogs and their families thrive.

We sent our new puppy, Roxy, to train with Marielle who came highly recommended from not only family members but also the vet. Roxy was not cooperating with a leash or any other commands. She came home only a few days later and would heal with the leash and listened to all basic commands. I couldn't believe the progress! I feel lucky to have Marielle train our puppy, she is an amazing trainer.

I can't say enough good things about Marielle. I went through a number of classes with each of my dogs, and each time learned more. When one of our pets became aggressive toward other dogs in adolescence, Marielle coached our family to manage her behavior. I'm quite certain we would not have made it through the stress of that time without her calm, clear, instruction. We are so thankful for all she has done to support our family dogs! Now, if I could just get her to Nashville to help with the newest addition...
