Somewhat decent at finding you a job, terrible with answering phone and returning calls. Also gave them info for my bank account for direct deposit and they said it would be 8 days. It is now 6 months later and still haven't received the money in my account.

Worst staffing agency I’ve ever worked for. Never are able to help, held a paycheck from me for 3 weeks and told me “it was out of their hands,” only to find they never submitted it. Went without insurance for 3 months because they never submitted my paperwork. Horrible company.

They don't care anything about you. Most job's here pay very little and they offer no assistance

Great job placement. Fast and easy to work with. The ladies at Doherty do excellent work with finding a job that is right for you.

Ive never actually written a review for anything before but the ridiculousness of my experience with this specific office led me to warn others who are attempting to use this hiring agency. I was finding it hard to find work since i recently moved to mankato and out of desperation i decided to try this hiring agency. so i called and they set me up with an interview to further see my skills and help me get matched with an appropriate job. So i got setup and soon when for a tour of a place that was looking to hire me. When i arrived there though there was a change of plans and i got no tour. rather filled some more paperwork for doherty because they said that the plant manager needed to see if i was the right fit first and that they would contact me a week from then. so a week passed and no call. i attempted to call the place of work and no response, then i attempted to call doherty and to my surprise, no response. this was after christmas so i assumed maybe they were closed for the holidays in January. I attempted for a week to call Doherty with no response so out of frustration i drove out to there office and to my surprise, they were open. I did not jump to conclusions and assume they ignored me, rather maybe my calls werent going through i thought. So while i was there, i told them about what happened with the other job and they looked at other places and applied me for other work so i left. a couple of days later they call me to tell me that they needed someone to watch there office while they had some kind of meeting and that i would be payed. i found this sort of unproffesional since i was not an employee there and it was a last minute thing too but i agreed for the money. So I show up and my job was to answer calls and take messages for a couple of hours and this is when i learned the truth. The first couple of calls were people wondering about what happened with the jobs they applied for and some looking to use the agency, one lady even told me about how bad her situation was and how she really needed help. The rest of the calls were of people surprised that i had even answered because apparently, they would call and call with no answers. one guy was so mad he said that everyone in the office should get fired. i was sickened to finally see the truth and to add insult to injury, i did not even get paid. I wondered how this office was even open after witnessing the poor job that is done there. Do these people not realize how important a job is? It was quite sad to see all these people frustrated like i was, struggling to make ends meet and relying on an agency that cant even answer there calls. I dont know if thats the case with every Doherty office but it is with this one and some real big changes need to happen here but for now. Look somewhere else, dont waste your time with this office
