I was visiting for one of the assignments i had for class. What I really liked about this place is the really cool sight of the colorful salt ponds, as well as the wetland full of animals, birds, and other organisms alike. All the way through the park are hiking trails that aren't too demanding and waves of tall grass all over the hills. One thing i recommend doing while there is getting to the tallest hill and just looking onto the horizon no matter what time of day! By the way, if you are sensitive to allergies like me, i suggest taking something for it to have a more enjoyable experience.

While Don Edwards sometimes has some pungent smells, it is still a great park. There is always open parking and being by the water means it usually has a cool breeze even on the hottest of days. This time of year is great too as the ducks and geese are out with their babies.

Great place to walk the trails, with or without your pet. Plenty of ground squirrels to distract your furry friend. There's also fishing near the bridge as well. It is also "THE" place to go to watch fireworks from the top of the hill. From that hill you could see just about the entire Peninsula, almost!

Great place to get away from the city rush without a long trip. Also a good place to relax and wait for the East bay traffic to settle down
