Awesome view all around. Water on the lake is bluish and very clean. Ample parking spot on the weekend I was there. There is an entrance fee of $6 per car. Saw lot of people fishing in the lake and catching good size fishes. There seeme to be hiking trail go all around the lake. Would definitely come back here in the near future to explore the surrounding areas.

Unless you're in pretty good shape, I wouldn't try the dam side. I'm in my 60's and had to stop to catch my breath three times to get to the water. The trail isn't bad, it's straight up and over a hill higher than the dam

I've went here for a field trip and walking up to the dam was hard. The scenery is very beautiful and inside they keep it very clean. Friendly people. I would probably come back

The northern entrance has parking at the interpretive center and shaded picnic tables. Clean restrooms inside. Not suitable for family with very young children to walk up to the dam. Prefer the southern entrance.

Beautiful, serene, sparsely crowded, best for small hikes and angling. North East entrance less crowded than south entrance and has a dam lookout point. Saw some beautiful birds as well.
