DoubleTree by Hilton West Fargo

Very unfriendly. Zero accommodating efforts despite the endless problems we encountered. The pool was filled with chemicals that made all four if my children break into full body, red and itchy rashes. Oh, I can't forget to mention the broken hot tub. The breakfast is $13 per person, but that fact is hidden on a small sign behind a row of coffee machine. The restaurant is actually a bar with appetizers and a few meals thar apparently they don't keep in stock. The snack and little store by the front desk charges $10 for an .88 cent banquet frozen meal. It's disgraceful. We were questioned..interrogated..because we asked for two more pillows. I was actually told we had enough pillows. Wow. The King beds were old and sagging. The bedding was a tangled mess. I asked for ten one dollar bills in an attempt to break a ten and specifically said it was for the drink machines upstairs. I was given two fives as yet another way to drive people into spending four dollars for a soda in their snack shop. I gave this disaster of a hotel a two star rating only because they did actually have a true full kitchenette in our suite. Since I had four kids miserable and chemically burned from the pool, and no pool at all after that to swim in, the cooking in room helped pass the time. I hate to cook. However, kids love to eat. Also, the fresh warm cookies at check in were nice. Yup. That's about all. It was absolutely super duper fun. Said nobody ever.

Stayed over night on a drive through Fargo. Great new hotel that is well decorated with very spacious rooms. Warm cookie when you arrive was delicious and the staff were all very friendly. Ate dinner at the bar/restaurant and the food was ok not great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a meeting room here and had a great experience. Staff were attentive. AV set up worked well and everyone was really comfortable and pleased with the location!

Albeit the hotel was very clean and nice, our daughter left her Apple Watch in the room on the counter because she had forgotten her charger. After getting out on the road we called the hotel to ask if they could get the watch out of the room. They said they would call us back and never did. We called them 3 days in a row and they always gave us the run around! So if you stay here, make sure you double check everything because no way are they going to return something if you have mistakenly forgot something in the room!

Nice new hotel. Friendly staff. Room to room noise isolation could be improved. Made it hard to sleep with both adjacent rooms had people talking. Tried turning HVAC fan on but it automatically shuts off due to motion sensor.
