Dr. Andrew V. Pasternak IV, MD

This is the type of DR that will just shove pills down your throat. Doctors results for MRI "I think you will have problems in your Life" You will rarely actually see the DR here. It will always be a physician assistant because they over schedule and over book.

Dr. Pasternak rocks. When I broke my toe 3 days before a 12 mile relay race, he got me in first thing in the morning. When I had some tests done on Friday for a frightening potential outcome, he called me Friday evening with the good news - so I wouldn't have to worry all weekend. He's one of the best in town.

I really liked the Nurse Practitioner that met with me. He was very competent. So was Abby, who I believe was one of the nurses on staff who was sure to call me when my results came back as well as made sure the necessary information was forwarded to my insurance company. However. Aside from those two people my over all experience was not good at all. I was admittedly running a few minutes behind, and I called to let the office know. The woman who answered the phone said that would be okay. Once I got there, I was greeted with a VERY rude woman who told me "well, I thought you were going to be here earlier so...I don't know if we have time for you." She rolled her eyes and went to speak with the doctor. She was NOT helpful, or welcoming. Then the nurse who took me back to a waiting room to take measurements, was rushing through everything. She did not weigh me correctly nor accurately measure my height. The room she took me in had another nurse in it who was EATING HER BREAKFAST while I was being examined. The nurse who was taking my measurements also went and ate some of her friends breakfast while examining me. Slightly disgusting. Moral of the story, I like some of the staff and the doctors, but I am not sure I will be back.

Dr. Pasternak is kind, caring, and has the healing touch. He has been very helpful whenever I go in and there is little wait. He is the best primary care physician I have had.

Dr. Pasternak rocks! I have been a patient for 10+ years and I have always found my experiences in his office great. I had a emergency knee issue while in Texas and called his office. Amazingly, they called me back with an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon as soon as I could return to Reno (I ended up have knee surgery, but that's another story). I hadn't been into the office for a year and half, but they still got me taken care of. I only complaint I have is Dr. P has diplomas from University of Michigan all over his office and I'm a graduate of The Ohio State University.
