Incredible doctor and person. So thankful that we found her. She is unlike any other doctor I've met. She definitely listens to you as the parent and is flexible to your needs. She doesn't try to push you to do something that you might be uncomfortable with, and definitely listens to your "mother's intuition." You can tell that she actually cares about the kids. She really makes an effort to make a connection to them and she is very gentle and sweet to them. She is just the type of person you want when it comes to interacting with your children. You can tell that she loves children. A nurse is on staff that we aren't exactly thrilled with from experiences in the past, but we just try to make our appointment to get the other nurse. Their office is very accommodating. Also, I don't know what the other reviewers are referring to when they're talking about a 2-3 hour wait time. We've never waited that long. Usually it seems we wait between 20-30 minutes in the waiting room. Then we do wait in the actual patient room, but, we've never been there at the visit for longer than I'd say, two hours altogether and that's getting all the kids seen back-to-back. That's just been my experience, but we've always gone at regular check-ups, since my kids stay at home with me and rarely get sick.

Lisa Whitcomb is EVIL. Pick anybody but her for your pediatrician. I was adamant that their was something very wrong with my child at 3 months of age, but NOBODY listened. Nystagmus was the sign, but Whitcomb didn't pick her up or even look at her to know. Once she decides to call DHHS it's too late to stop it. She'll invent a reason why your child needs to go to children's hospital, but it's a setup. If you go, DHHS and the hospital will trap you there while they obtain an exparte to steal your child away. The reason for my daughter Bailey...because she wanted a blood sample that her inexperienced nurses couldn't obtain. I told her she could prick her foot (like Methodist did). They did that and obtained a sample, but that didn't land us in the trap she'd already devised. So she called as an anonymous reporter. DHHS showed up at our home and threatened us to take Bailey to the hospital or remove her from her home. Once we arrived, they abducted Bailey at 14 months old, with the help of armed officers, on the grounds of medical neglect. Their determination was that our tiny child wasn't being fed properly, though her calorie intake was greater than the guidelines that would be set by Children's nutritionalist. Our child was placed in foster care (her grandmother's=the worst place possible) for 4 months and traumatized by her experience. At the age of 4, Bailey finally started seeing a neurologist. Her delayed development was not a result of being underfed. Whitcomb and Children's staff will lie and are prepared to lie under oath if needed, just to maintain their authoritative and "always right" status. Bailey's condition (severe neuropathy) was caused by a multivitamin with iron prescribed at birth. As a result of one dose, not properly demonstrated and under diluted she suffered iron overload. I was adamant about that from the start, which ALL medical practitioners have denied because that would be an admission of culpability/lawsuit. After 3 years of being out of state care and away from Children's staff, Bailey is doing incredible. As first time parents, these incompetent and unethical monsters will destroy your family on a whim. Stay far far away!

Our family highly recommends Dr. Whitcomb. She is patient, kind, and very helpful. We, as parents, are listened to by her and our thoughts on our kids' health and well being are important to her. Our kids trust her and she has helped us out with last minute with a doozy of an ear infection! Our daughter that was experiencing this had always given us fits with other doctors. She likes Dr Whitcomb so much that even through the pain of an ear infection she sat still, let her look inside, and even let her clean it out without budging. Dr. Whitcomb is cool about trying natural methods of treatment first (as long as it's not serious) if you're into that. She's a huge blessing to our family in this regard. We are so thankful for her and her amazing staff. Her nurses are just the best!

Best pediatrian out there. Really happy with how she handles my son and the urgency she has whenever I need help or need to get in. I wouldn't take my child to any other pediatrian and recommend her to all my friends and their families. She's behind you and respects whatever you want to do pertaining your child's health without pressuring you to believe one thing or the other. She keeps you educated and let's you know pros and cons of everything.
