This store is not 24 hours, this is a false advertisement. The staff closes the store earlier than required. They don't keep a register with cash until the last customer leaves; instead they demand you pay by card or leave your items. It seems the employees treat the manager as a pushover and dictate the operational hours. The customer is forced to accept their poor service, due to lack of competition at these late hours. You as the customer need to hold the receipt and call Duane Reade Corporate if you to are subjected to and/or observe such nonsense. Demand compensation for your waisted time.
Went in for a quick item and had no bother, a good choice of items from cosmetics to sweets, clean and staff were good.
The staff at the pharmacy is very helpful especially the pharmacy manager Anzhelika. She is always very helpful proactive and assists in her best way. She is so professional and kind. She makes me become very loyal to the pharmacy
I got my vaccine from this pharmacy but they entered my phone number incorrectly and now I'm unable to verify myself in order to get a Excelsior plus pass I need for my traveling! I get that people makes mistakes but having that pass is important for me to be able to prove I got the vaccine in order to travel far. It's upsetting that they have yet to properly update my phone number and it's been a entire month already.
I had used my rewards card to make a purchase of about $25 and never used the product but when I tried to return it the women working the register was extremely unhelpful and rude! She refused to confirm the store number listed on the product, insisted I bought it at another location and would not help me in any way after insisting that she could not find my purchase! Even when I confirmed with Google that this was the store number labeled on the product she simply walked away and ignored me.
Didn’t accept my passport scan copy as ID proof for a can of beer! Unbelievable, I used this scan to buy alcohol elsewhere because I don’t want to carry my passport with me all the time to avoid getting it lost, but this store manager didn’t want to compromise, so here you go - one star experience PS. Thanks to the guy who purchased this can of beer for me and freed me from unnecessary run to my hotel for my passport
Submitted a poster for printing which the system said it should be ready by 2:30pm. Showed up at 5pm to pick it up and they tell me they can't print it because their machine is down. They should have called me to let me know. What a waste of time. Update: 6 months later I get an email saying my poster is ready LMAO... see photo.
Went in to buy some beer and snacks. We are on holiday from the U. I'm 51 years old. Cashier insisted on photo ID. Said driving license, when the Wife came over with her photo driving license, said we needed our passports. Obviously didn't want to serve us. Rude, unhelpful, arrogant. I could go on. Absolute disgrace.
On holiday from the UK with wife and baby. Wanted to pick up some food plus a 3pk of Bud. Was told needed ID. Both my wife and I have UK driving licenses. Was told needed passport. Who exactly carries their passport on them? I’m 39 and wife 32 so don’t exactly look under 21!! How about using some common sense.
The cashier was extremely rude to me and another customer. She was banging on the register and slamming stuff when I asked for a refund. Refused to give the refund and called for a manger.
