Old school feel, but a little dated. Rooms were clean but the a/c barely worked and the lady at the desk thought it was just because we didn't know how to turn it on. We did, it just wasn't cold. Thankfully they had a fan that we could borrow and it helped. Would not recommend staying during the summer, but maybe winter. Short walking distance to a lot of nice downtown eats and drinks was nice.
Interesting place to stay. Dude ranch kinda theme throughout was fun. Bathroom was clean where it needed to be, but you can't clean the wallpaper. Very inexpensive rate. The HVAC system would blow air, but never seemed to do much with temperature or humidity. Luckily, it was mild during my stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend it for a cheap stay.
The staff was friendly. Had an old timey feel. Unfortunately that was about where the plus side ends. AC was busted and it was roughly 85 degrees in our room. The best they could do was giving us miniature fans. The sheets felt grainy as if there were particles of dirt in them. Floors were carpeted and very stained. Bathrooms were okay. Would not recommend.
Hotel is adorable and full of charm. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfy and water is hot with great pressure. Was there on a super hot night that the a/c could not keep up with. Provided with fans, opened a window and put the fan in it. Was very comfortable. All was good until the guy sitting out front of the door on the ground smoking asked me if I was transporting weed truck and horse trailer. When I looked at him like he was crazy, he started spouting about God given rights and how weed is all natural. I believe he is either the owner or manager, as he was unlocking the front door from the inside as I was checking out. Other than that wackadoodle, a very pleasant stay.
Great value compared to the other hotels in the area - an old school feel but I thought it was charming. Clean and comfortable during my stay. Front desk was helpful in finding some food options and appropriate parking. No issues with the AC as some other reviews listed.Rooms: 5/5
Stayed at this hotel one night. Was in room 118. It was terrible. The room was dirty, dust everywhere, hair in the bed, bed pillows dirty, bathroom jets and tub itself were disgusting. The bed is so soft and sunken in that you just roll to the low uncomfortable spot. You could smell every guest that ever stayed in those pillows, made me sick. There was one plug by the door to try and charge your electronics and it’s not marked but it’s on a switch that also controls the lights so if you want to charge your stuff up and sleep in the dark you’re screwed. There were also what appeared to be homeless people trying to stay there. Which would explain how stinky the bedding was. I thought this hotel would be decent from the reviews and the price I paid for a room $99 for one night but it definitely was not. Worst night sleep in a disgustingly expensive room.
Had I known this was a local party hotel I would have booked somewhere else. When I checked in I was informed that the location was no longer accepting anyone with a Billings address because of the issues. The non smoking room reeked of cigarettes and most places won't deliver to the location. I was also advised that parking on the street was safer then parking in the hotel lot.
Had to clean our own room on arrival. Nothing was done to rectify that. Poor management. And an annoying little girl who was brought along with her parents that worked there? Didnt like to be told no. The only upside to the room was the beds felt you were sleeping on clouds. But I'm also pretty sure they had bed bugs. So if you can. Get a room at different hotel. Even if it costs more money.
Rooms smelled very old and entire place was very out dated. Was fine with it and accepted I got what I paid for. That was until I found a bed bug crawling in my bed. Turned around and packed up my things and left. Didn’t even stay a night. One bright spot is they do have very friendly and helpful staff.Rooms: 1/5
I don't mind the older decor. I kinda like it. I didn't mind cigarette burns in the carpet. I didn't like how dirty it was. The tub was full of hair and soap scum. Small children wouldn't be safe to crawl either. I found several sharp objects on the floor under the vent. I took some to the front desk. She cited new employees. Who trains them? Rooms: You should have someone inspect these rooms. Ours was dirty. Walkability: Great location for a walk.
