The shows are always great, but they don't open up areas for more bathroom use, drink and snack prices are high, they let too many people in late after shows have started (because of long lines maybe), they kick you out as soon as the show is over. The stages are good sizes. There really aren't any "bad" seats in any of them. Parking is very convenient. The building is kept clean and maintained and is well lit. I've never felt unsafe. We have always enjoyed the gentleman street performer playing the sax in front of the fountain.

Whomever designed this place put women and men's rooms on opposite sides of this huge theater. A real drag to walk through a large crowd to one side only to discover you must sojourn back the way you came. Otherwise, good comfortable seats and good sound.

Went to the ballet to see Serenade. It was an awesome experience. It held the children attention longer than I imagined it would. We will definitely be going back again. The usher that worked the top floor went above and beyond. Thank you!

It doesn't matter where do you seat. You can see the show. The acoustic it's awesome and the venue it's beautiful. I've been there many times and it has been always great. We really enjoy the last concert (Air Supply). We I also proposed to my beautiful (now) fiance. Again, I will recommend this venue to everyone who likes great shows.

Clean, beautiful theatre. Duke Energy Center has a few stages for performances all year round. Parking is close (less than a blocks walk) and they have snacks they usually sell in the lobby. Every seat is a good one because its not very deep so you wont need binoculars to see the stage.
