Great College! I am currently a junior in the filmmaking animation program. The staff and students are friendly and helpful. Work is tough but you certainly learn a lot. The professors have good connections to people out in the field you're interested in so it's more likely that you will get a job graduating from here.

The school puts out great performances. However, the teaching style is very formulaic especially in the high school program. I do not recommend it whatsoever. Keep in mind that these reviews are public, and therefore not many are willing to give bad reviews of their professors. Be weary of the program and consider yourself auditioning for the school, but also the school auditioning for you. Do not be afraid to leave. It may be the best thing you've ever done.

I'm a high school freshman here, and have so many amazing things to say about this school. the entire atmosphere is amazing, being that it is an entire world of artists living together. an experience like no other. although it is incredibly difficult to get in, if you have a passion and talent for the arts, this is definitely where you should study for either high school or college.

I graduated and went on to design shows at the top of the business. The design program was top notch and I owe my artistry to the staff of NCSA (U.) You may see a design of mine on permanent display at the Smithsonian Institution but the live performances that I designed at the Kennedy Center are with my soul forever.
After over a decade after my last show I could call the cues and focus in a heartbeat!
