My family has been here a handful of times and it is always a great outing. During the summer, they have movies out on the lawn which is SUCH a great time. During a normal day, a walk through the sculpture garden is great to get outdoors or perfect for a walk with young children. Inside is less conducive to young children (like any art museum) but I know that they have a kids creative room that sometimes has activities for the little ones. The museum itself is wonderful and they are very informative about their art!

The museum keeps expanding and improving over the years we've been here. The main collections are interesting and they keep bringing aspirational exhibitions and shows to the venue. We've recently really enjoyed "You Are Here" from several artists exploring light. It was immersive and engaging for all ages. The expansions outside and the performances and films on the lawn are a great treat. They are always finding ways to engage in non-traditional ways.

I enjoyed walking around the museum grounds to look at all of the sculptures! Stop in at one of the front desks and ask for a walking map. It will provide information the location and names (maybe a bit of information) about the piece, too. It appeared to be dog friendly. Most paths were paved, but some were also firmly packed and covered in wood chips.

This place never gets boring. I enjoy going here as often as I can. We recently visited the"You Are Here" exhibit, which was fantastic. The permanent exhibits make for an excellent (and free) afternoon, as does a walk around the outdoor space. If you haven't been, here's your chance!

Visited for the the first time, on the last day of Art in Bloom. This was a challenging first impression because of the crowds. However, they did a superb job of getting us parked and inside the exhibits. It was difficult to get the pictures that I wanted, free of other camera readied visitors. Most were polite. The collections are varied from paintings to sculpture and it will take several trips to fully apprecoate the exhibits. Thoroughly enjoyed and plan to return on a non-event day.
