I like this place a lot, but I am more interested in the museum beside it, being the science museum. If you prefer history, this is the place for you! Each museum has an amazing gift shop, where I usually get the peach lozenges. It's a very fun experience, and I like the car ride there too! You do pay for parking if your parking in a specific area. Enjoy your time there! 👍

Fantastic museum that keeps fresh exhibits. The new World War I exhibit is fantastic. Really like some of the displays. Love walking through the trenches. My kids really got a good idea of what life was like for the soldiers. Elsewhere in the museum, so much of it is fresh, even though we have seen it regularly. We love to go through the tour of NC. So great exhibits including Blackbeard, segregation, and more. The NC Sports Hall of Fame is great, seeing all the big names, especially with ice hockey represented. Definitely a good morning/afternoon to spend here.

Great museum, had a ton of unique exhibits. The World War 1 section was phenomenal. If you’re near Raleigh, you should definitely check it out. It’s free to enter, but definitely donate if you can to keep wonderful places like this open.

Excellent museum here in NC. It is not very big, but their exhibit about WW1 and "A call to arms" are exceptional. Any history buff or war history enthusiast will love this place. The war propaganda posters is a really nice collection. Saw many I have never seen before. Best of all... It's free!

The neatest place! We were visiting from out of state and I only wish we'd set aside a whole day to visit the museum! I would definitely recommend and we will make it a priority on our next trip.
