My order: -Kung Pao chicken large -Steamed vegetables small Each of these items came with small white rice The good: the service was very fast. The bad: There was little to no kick to the chicken. The veggies were alright. And all for $25. What happened to the days when Chinese food was cheap and good? Maybe I just didn’t order the right thing.
I ordered for the first time from this place as I was craving Chinese food. First I called and my first question was, do you take credit card . The lady that answered said yes. After giving my order she said cash only head scratcher she then hung up after I corrected her as she told me they take credit card. I proceeded to order online so I could pay with credit card. Food arrived in good time no problem there. I ordered lobster lo mein. I received lo mein with some mysterious meat which I though was shrimp but smelled weird, which cost, 3$ more because it’s suppose to be lobster. Not lobster, 100% see enclosed photo. The egg rolls , which generally are vegetable egg rolls had a mysterious meat like red substance/texture.
After calling two places prior to this one, I am so glad they were both closed. The food came fast, was warm and very fresh. I love how they don’t drown the boneless ribs in that red sauce. The rib meat tasted perfect. Thanks for the great service.
A waste of time and money. You cannot put certain sides/food together even if willing to pay as a rule... fine. If for any reason you would still like to purchase read on. I grabbed the food and left. As I'm going to the area where the utensils and condiments are. I decided to just take duck sauce no utensils. They're unsanitary. Ketchup platters some looking a few days old. To clarify i already paid for the food so, no forks but fine. Back at the desk I was completely mad. I ordered a sweet and sour chicken. There were more unnecessary vegetables in the sweet and sour chicken than actual sauce. The container the chicken was in was cracked. The chicken not cooked nor breaded right. A waste, a complete waste. In the name of being positive I tried to eat it, but my palate for food can handle charred not burnt food. I couldn't do it. The rice is untouched. I'm not going to risk it. Poor show . One star for accepting credit cards and the cold grape soda that helped wash away the attempt to eat this food.
This has been my recent go to for Chinese take out I pick up. The hot and sour soup taste fresh and is chock full of what H&S soup should be full of. My other go to's have been the pint size portions of meat, chicken or pork and mixed vegetables...perfect size for one. Had the pork chow fun and the cold noodles with sesame sauce and both were good as well. So far all has been very consistent in taste so for now these will be my go to's.
Beware - they have moved 40 blocks north but still allow pick-up orders from their old location, which of course they cannot fulfil.
Enjoyed lunch. Large portions, tasty fresh food and good service. I had the bento box.
Had been walking around all day and was looking for a place to pick up and take back to time share. Asked the doorman for a recommendation of where he would go. The food was amazing. And when I heated the leftovers the next day - the pork fried rice was even better. That isn’t something you find a lot. Would definitely recommend.
My first time ordering here and the delivery guy jus mad it my last I was told it was one price on the phone then when he got here it was more then got angry cause I could not understand what he was saying rice was hard and cold chicken was not the right order
