Eden Restaurant

We were here for a beautiful wedding reception. It was so pretty inside and the food was delicious! I had the pork roast, done very nicely with asparagus and some kind of potato noodle dish (yummy). My husband had the salmon which was done perfectly to his liking, juicy and delicious! Great restaurant pick by the Bride and Groom!!

What happened to this restaurant. I always loved this place, the food, the atmosphere. But lately, it seems that the portions have diminished. I was there recently. My guest ordered the halibut. When it came to the table we both stared at what looked more like an appetizer that an entree. Literally two bites and it was gone. Also now desserts are more like a sampling then a full one. We basicly popped them into our mouth and they disappeared. I realize that food prices go up and over head but, there prices have gone up and the amount of food has gone down. I hope they adjust there ways because I do want to go back here. If they don't I guess I'll just have to go when they have there pre fix nite. At least I'll feel I got my monies worth.

Really excellent restaurant. Love the decor. Food was excellent; although the fried oyster appetizer was underwhelming compared to the quality of the rest of the meal. Professional and friendly staff! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Went to dinner the other night at Eden. The atmosphere was very nice and as depicted on their website. Our server was friendly and did a great job. The wine selection was also good. I ordered the soup and also the shirt rib with cheddar grits. Soup was good, grits were good (never had those before) but the short rib was mediocre. It was fatty and not really tender. I did not enjoy it. I am a fan of short ribs and they can typically be peeled from the bone with only a fork. My date got a steak and she was underwelmed by it. She gave me half her steak. I ate a piece and decided it was tasteless. My guess is that the cut of meat was "choice" instead of a "prime" cut. I wouldn't be so critical except that this place is on the pricier side. We spent $200 for 2 people (included wine and dessert). That is a lot to spend and get main dishes​ that are mediocre.
