Nora Lee's ~ Meh from me Deep in picturesque Old New Castle, after you circle the block a few times and finally land a parking place, you enter into the magical atmosphere of Nora Lee's. If I could eat the romance emanating through the walls, I'd love the place as much as everyone else. The drinks are okay. The entrees range from terrific to average. Desserts are more interesting than most, with at least one or two New Orleans favorites. Prices are typical for upscale restaurants. Check to see if there's a band and make reservations.

The food was AMAZING! Very flavorful and well made. We went on a Thursday night. The ambiance and vibe was very chill. The lights are low and you can hear instrumentals that take you back to Bourbon st (if you've ever been). This is a 4 star, because the service was a little slow. After we finished our appetizer and the waitress took our plates we waited another 40mins for our meals.

The food was delicious! Went there for lunch. I shared their Blackened Chicken Sandwich and Apple Walnut Salad. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing. They have gas and electric fireplaces running to make it a cozy experience. I recommend stopping in if you are looking for a place to eat while in Historic New Castle, you will Not be disappointed.

Okay experience, do not know if I would go back. Had drinks and ate at the bar. Service was so slow. food was okay. I had baked brie. Main component was good, the additional bread was too dry and felt like an afterthought. Person I was with had wings; flavor was good, texture was off.

Amazing food and exceptional service from Wayne. It was our first time but will definitely not be our last.
