My private get away. Since the pandemic, the theaters rarely have more than 12 people in them when I go. Often less than 3. I love it. With my unlimited pass, I will often see 1-3 movies per week. I can even answer work emails without distracting others. Friendly staff as well. The theater is moderately clean. I bring a travel blanket to provide an extra layer of protection for my peace of mind, but I'm general the floors aren't sticky and gross. It's more to do with an overall sense of an aging theater. But they're in the middle of a big renovation as well, so fingers crossed for new seats!
Terrible, terrible, terrible experience!! Do not waste your money. I am so sad with how everything was... I see that half of the theater is getting expanded/remodeled, but the area that they do have open is a total disaster. Do NOT pay for the nicer seats, or IMAX experience. It's a big rip off. As you can see pictured is the cushion of my seat that was the MOST uncomfortable chair I have ever sat on. Not just because of all of the tears in the fabric, which were cutting into my leg, but the fact that the chairs feel like you are sitting in rocks. Extremely uncomfortable, especially to watch a 3 hour movie. It was warm in the theater, just super uncomfortable. The concession stands are another disaster. They are out of everything. The popcorn was old and didn't taste like anything. It was a very busy weekend, the new Batman was released, zero excuse to be serving, old saggy, bland popcorn. Then the restrooms were a total joke!!! Just look at the picture. This one was the family one. I originally walked into the females one, and every single stall made me want to gag. I'm just extremely disappointed. It's not like the prices were discounted, that way I knew what I was getting myself into. Complete rip off!
Wish there was an option for no stars. Glad we got to watch 15 minutes of commercials in red.. and then they “fixed it” to only make it through 15 minutes of spider man to get another 30 minutes of red. Then they offered us money back if we stayed to watch. This is the line we got when we eventually did leave and went to ask for our money back. Find a different theater if you want to see a movie
it's been years since I went to see a movie at this particular Regal Edwards Cinema location. seem outdated and need a refresh especially the seats. almost all the chain AMC, Cinemark have better seat chairs; they're recliners and they are more comfortable as well. here the seats aren't even recliners and barely recline
First time being here. I booked tickets online since there is reserved seating. There was a booking fee in addition to the price of a ticket of a couple dollars... There is plenty of parking. I am happy that there is security in the lots so that brings peace of mind while we are watching our movie. The concessions stand is pretty large so it keeps lines short. A large bucket of popcorn is a little less than $10. The movie experience was good. I had one of the larger theaters so the stadium system seating was nice. The only thing I noticed was the worn out seats. I could feel all the leather or whatever it is coming apart. It's definitely an older theater. I had to deduct a star for this. Overall, it gets the job done. Wouldn't mind coming back. Just thought it'd not be so obviously not taken care of with the seats, but it is what it is. Everything else was fine.
By far the worst movie theater I’ve been to recently. It definitely USED to be good years ago but with the new renovations. Booking fees online is like adding a tip for purchasing your own ticket online that doesn’t cost anything to generate an rq code. Going through the halls and getting to your movie door is okay. but once you get in the seats it’s back to mediocre Renovations that feel like Cheap Blood Red vinyl seating scrunched up into tight slots that don’t even fold up. The lean back portion is manual push that you have to sustain to an uncomfortable position. Letting your partner lean on you will have her uncomfortable quickly. The Lit up RED R’s on the wall are also creepy as they turn on and are distracting while watching the movie because there reflective even when off. Plenty of places that are 10 to 20 times more comfortable with electric seats that lean back to your desired position with a foldable middles.
I thought when we arrived that the place was shut down. It's under construction and looks like a dying theater. It was nice that the theater was empty and although the seats appeared new they didn't recline much, the middle arm didn't move up and my back hurt when we left. It's only worth going on Tuesdays at the discounted rate imo.
It's a comfortable theater with all varieties of movie formats to choose from. IMAX, RPX, 4DX and Screen X. Watch Top Gun Maverick on Screen X is definitely worth it. Although I think they can make their chairs for Screen X a little bit more comfortable. The chair can only tilt a little bit and it's a little small compare to all those laying flat chairs in other theaters.
I really like this theater. And the improvements they are building only stand to make it better. My one complaint comes from taking my son to see a movie this week. The trailers were really loud. Louder than normal. So I stepped out, found an employee and asked if they could turn it down to a normal level. That didn't happen. The movie starts and it's just as loud. I have tinnitus/hearing issues and it was on the verge of being unbearable during loud scenes. My son and myself found each other plugging our ears during those scenes. He had to go to the bathroom midway through and I thought it was the perfect time to alert another employee of the issue. I told them the trailer and the movie was too loud and they said they'd check into it. Nothing changed. For me, the irreversible damage to my hearing has already been done, but I'm more worried about my son and other young people's hearing. You don't have to blare the sound to be able to hear in an enclosed theater with no competing noises. This is a one off experience for me but please management, make sure this doesn't become a regular occurrence.
I can’t speak highly enough for this theater, parking is a breeze and free too ticket systems are effortless and very easy to work too. Concessions are always great hear and we’ll worth the value. Very clean and pleasant for consistent and once in a while movie viewers
