About

Formed in 1936, EHRA is the 2nd oldest engineering firm in Houston. Over the past 78 years, EHRA has cultivated 16 complementary engineering services.

Story

EHRA is a multi-discipline civil engineering firm. EHRA employs a full complement of professional staff, including licensed professional engineers, engineers-in-training, registered professional land surveyors, a 1icensed professional landscape architects, civil designers and technicians. Today, the Principal owners are Truman C. Edminster, Ill, P.E. and Jim B. Russ.
EHRA is comprised of several divisions including public. infrastructure, transportation, hydraulics and hydrology, and planning, land development, surveying, construction phase services and landscape architecture; all of which work -together to serve city, county, state and other governmental agencies along with single-family, retail and commercial development.
EHRA takes pride in our ability to provide an innovative, effective approach to project planning and design with an emphasis on economics. Specific budgets and design schedules are prepared for each project and monitored closely to facilitate the completion of projects within specified time periods.
Our approach provides the project team with the latest advancements in computer hardware and software technology to enhance and expedite the engineering design and construction plan production of the proposed projects.
In addition to our design capabilities, EHRA will furnish construction phase services when needed, and are capable of providing complete construction observation services through our experienced construction services staff.
