EHS 1760 Third Avenue Residence

This place is way too over priced for what you get. Everything in my room has had maintenance issues. If i am paying almost $2k per month I don't want my shower to break, I don't want my sink to leak, I don't want my power to get out but that has all happened. Not to mention, if the kitchen say's it is open from 6 AM to 12 AM and I'm getting home at 11:30 pm from work, I want to be able to make something quickly not come to having the door shut and be turned away because "i'm going to make a mess." Rude staff.

Due to time management issues from our part, my family and I were unable to meet the 4:30 p.m. tour scheduled to see the building. However, I was only interested in at least seeing a room. Forget the kitchen and other common areas, my parents just wanted to see how my room would look like. The front desk employees treated us in a quite condescending way, telling us there was no way of meeting the half-started tour. There was no way of meeting the tour guide. There were no administrative staff who could meet with us or anything. I mean, if you have prospective clients, the least you can do is speak to them in a respectful manner. Seriously, thank God I arrived late because I was able to see the type of people who run that place. No booking from my part! ;)

EHS is beyond great! I can not express how much better my experience in NYC has been because of it. I am from a journalism student from Texas who was honestly afraid to come to a huge city like New York. EHS provides a family away from home. Starting with the smooth check, an amazing staff of security guards and RAs, tons of events where you get to see the city, and the 24 hour GYM! love it.

I was in the Rennert Teens. Always was fantastic. In this very big residence you can cook in the kitchen and you can also go to the gym inside the building.
