El Colima

My mother and I celebrated our birthdays at El Colima and everything was perfect! We were a party of 10 and 2 kids, so not the easiest lunch to serve but our waitress was attentive, friendly and accommodating. Our food and drinks were on time and delicious. She kept coming back to check on us and refill our waters, and they even surprised us with a complimentary birthday dessert, churros! I loved having the back room all to ourselves. It was spacious, right next to the bathrooms and private for a group of our size. It’s especially helpful when you have kids in your party. It was a perfect lunch with my family, who had never been to El Colima before. But after our amazing visit, they will be coming back. I would recommend El Colima as the #1 Mexican Restaurant in Nashua. They are consistently great in service and quality of food/drink.

Definitely our favorite Mexican place in the Nashua area. Our favorite dish is the enchiladas. I believe it was started by the same group that has California burritos in front of the clock tower condos. The food here is not as authentic as California burritos. Still it's well done. We bring family and friends here all the time and I highly recommend it.

The service was excellent and the food was great. I haven't had such delicious Mexican food, since I came home from Houston, Texas in 1984!! Thank you💕💕

Had reservations for 6:30pm. 8 of us arrived early and were standing around for 10-15 minutes. No one helped us or asked to assist us until I asked after getting annoyed with waiting. Not that busy; several tables empty. We were finally seated. Room was freezing. Ordered drinks, which took forever to get. Rest of party showed up. Ordered drinks. Second round of drinks ordered for whole party. Now seated over an hour second round still not delivered and food order just being taken. Not impressed, considering I’ve heard such good things. Oh, and no chips and salsa offered at any time. We had to ask as we were all past hungry. Won’t ever come back. It would appear this was a poor management and bar staff issue. When a large party is coming in you should probably plan and be prepared. Don’t forget it’s a dollar a lime if you ask for one to garnish your margarita. Handed dirty silverware and it was just oops. So many other little issues. Guess it didn’t matter because large parties have 18% gratuity added; so why try to provide good service. To be fair for the most part, when we did finally get our food it was good, but not good enough considering what a terrible joke of an experience it was. Oh, and finally, if you give them a coupon double check your final bill; they “oops” forgot to apply them.

Great food. Salsa, guacamole and chips are all made.fresh and the food is wonderful! The staff was lovely. The only downfall was that the service was slow. I'd give it an A-
