Margaritas Mexican Restaurant

Margarita's is a chain, so you don't go their looking for the most authentic of experiences, but for me, it's always been the best late-night option Salem has to offer. In the year between I graduated from college and moved to Los Angeles, I used to frequent Margarita's for drinks after work, and it was always a fun atmosphere. Sure, there are jokes about how it's a Salem High reunion every night, but I'd much rather go here than any of the other late night alternatives. When we are in town, we always meet friends here... and you know... the beer is large, cold and delicious... as are the margaritas! The chips and salsa are also very good. So if you're looking for a place to meet up with friends that's more quite than the typical bar scene... this is your best option.

We are staying at the hotel across the street. We stopped in for a snack and drinks. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were attentive and made great drinks. I had the American soft chicken tacos which were pretty tasty. My boyfriend had the burrito which was pretty good he said. It's a chain and accented that was with multiple TVs somewhat loud music and typical mexi choices on the menu. It was enjoyable for us and we will return for at least drinks before we check out of this area.

Was there for paint night... That was awesome! Got to Margaritas half hour early, had to wait for a waitress in the bar for a drink. They took so long we were late for paint nite... The didn't even make my drink as I requested. There are much better Mexican restaurants in Salem to give your business to... Don't waste your time at Margaritas.

The drinks were excellent! Food was very tasty, not quite the large portions you usually find at a margaritas. The service was good although the waiter did feel the need to tell us that if he was tipping he would tip extra for the service he was giving us. That was definitely a turn off.

We were staying at the hotel overnight for a wedding in the area we had a few minutes before our ride was leaving so we decided to go to the bar for a quick drink. Walked into the bar there was no one in the restaurant and 6 people at the Bar and 2 bartenders standing together talking we stood there for 10 minutes before either of them bothered to take our order. We came in again after the wedding and the bartenders were agin too busy gabbing to bother and take orders . Did not eat bottle of beer , others had margarita ( said it was horrible ) another had rum and coke ( very weak ) would not go back
