La Carreta

New to Derry as my son moved here from Colorado. Looking for good places to eat. Saw the reviews on this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The location in Manchester got more reviews so I was wondering how the Derry location would be. Don't let the strip mall location and restaurant front fool you. Beautifully decorated inside and propels you into the Mayan time period. Great freshly made salsa served in a carfe with chips immediately upon sitting down. Great choice of Margaritas and the horses took special effort to write down what I couldn't eat there as a gluten free customer. Only 4 things. Other than that I could have everything. Fajitas on their way with corn tortillas. Awesome place with Taco Tuesdstd for the local crowd.

I was in from out of town and had a friend bring me here with his family. Great choice. Food was great for us all and I would return anytime. The price was more than fair as well. Nice to see such a great place.

One of the best Mexican restaurants i've ever been to. Fresh salsa, fresh fried tortilla chips, side table guacamole. Everything is well seasoned; ingredients are fresh. Great selection of tequilas and mezcal if you're into the worm in the bottle.

Really like the food and atmosphere. Prices are a little high for the style of food, but isn't unreasonable. Will definitely give them another try.

Lousy service. Lousy food. Beautiful interior. Ate there for first time and will never go back. Their refried beans are soup. Taco had no tomato or sour cream, if you ask for it the charge you. Ground beef was gross.
