El Cotija Mexican Restaurant

Very good food! The taste of their food blew me away. I wasn't expecting anything at all from this restaurant but after tasting what they got, they made a satistfied customer. I forgot the name of the menu item I ordered but the meat was tender and nicely seasoned. I'm not a seafood guy but the shrimp on my dish was very good too. Customer service was also awesome. I would definitely come back

This cute little Mexican restaurant is about 3 miles off the interstate. We arrived at night and it is very attractive with their signage and fountain in the front. We were seated quickly. The menu is typical for many restaurants of this style. We ordered the chicken fajitas and chimichangas for dinner. Portion size was generous and the presentation was appealing. We were not disappointed with the food quality either. Everything was flavorful and not overcooked at all. We would eat here again and, if we were local, I'm sure we would eat here often. We did eat here on Mother's day. They were busy but we were well cared for.

Very nice restaurant. Lovely interior and exterior. Prices were good...had lunch specials. Tortilla chips could have been a little crispier. Salsa was great! Servings were plentiful.

Very friendly staff. Good drink specials. Food is average, but on more than one occasion my chicken was not fully cooked. The main reason for the low stars is because of a known roach/insect problem. Myself as well as other customers have complained of insects in the prepared food, but little seems to have been done to rectify the situation. El Cotija is rapidly declining when compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area.

The food was great but my girlfriend and I went there for there Saturday "drink specials" and there midnight closing they advertised on their website. Come to find out during cashing out the check, that the site was old. They got new owners and had no control over the website. Therefore couldn't and didn't honor our "drink specials" plus they closed a hour sooner. We didn't become irate or anything but for future references they need to promptly get a hold on what's theres! Their WEBSITE!
