El Giro Mexican Restaurant

Their chips and salsa are great. Food has been good the two times we have visited. The location, appearance, and service type was not what we expected but it's fine. The locals seem to enjoy it quite a bit. I did have a meal that came with a side quesadilla that tasted of pure butter.

Its a local place to spend time with my niece She's a high school student Today we had reunion meeting Eight family members .They say the the was good Manger came out and spoke that was nice

Wonderful Hometown hospitality nice atmosphere and authentic Mexican Cuisine all adds up to wonderful experience in the wonderful town of Monticello if you go early you can catch football game on Friday night in the fall time and enjoy your evening in the clean crisp air of Jasper County

I wish "no stars" was an option! I have given this place 15-20 chances to get it right. The service is horrible no matter the time of day, and your order is only correct about 50% of the time. Sadly, the residents and visitors of Monticello are very limited in their dining choices. Officially done with Giro!

The staff was very rude and didn't even refill our drinks. I actually felt bad for leaving a tip.
