El Jinete Mexican Restaurant

Great service, great drinks, great food, and great servers. Prices are very reasonable and portions are big... I seem to never been able to finish my plate and I always end up taking the rest home with me.. usually that's my next day 's lunch at work. We really enjoy it. We love it there.

This place was packed! The food for me was just “eh”. But the atmosphere was great, our server was friendly, and the Chile and Chips were amazing. The seating we were given was tight and in the hottest corner there. We had 3 different dishes and all 3 people weren’t too thrilled.

This is my "go to" Mexican restaurant! It is one of those hole-in-the-wall wonders. Fantastic authentic food and always LARGE portions. I never leave without a "doggy bag" (and I don't have a dog) one thing...they are usually packed, so don't be surprised if you have a wait (usually not too long) but worth it. Once you've tried them you'll find yourself coming back!

There was a long wait, but I didn't notice the hostess advice anyone of the duration of how long the wait would be. My first visit was on a Friday evening. So I'll give it another try. The company I was with loves the place. They also made it enjoyable. Food was pretty decent. The place itself could use a little sprucing up.

Being a Vegan its hard sometimes to find a restaurant that can cater to my specific dietary needs but El Jinete came through in a big way! Explained to my waiter that I didn't eat meat or dairy and he recommended the fajita grilled veggie skillet with black beans and rice on the side with corn tortillas. I was so happy with my meal I hugged him! Delicous and satisfying.
