La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant

We went to this location to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. Our server Pablo took great care of all of us - about 17 people, to be exact! He was friendly, efficient, and made sure everyone was satisfied with what they had. Good job, Pablo! And thank you to Vera for allowing us to have such a large crowd at your restaurant!

Haven't been to this location for a few years now, went back with my family this time. It was pretty busy when we went. My Dad and I always share a pitcher of margaritas, and of course my mom always sneaks a few sips from us. I have to say, we all agreed it was very, very weak. It barely tasted of tequila, instead tasted of just straight stawberry flavoring. We told the server and he brought the manager over, which we didn't necessarily need, and the manager made us a new pitcher. Definitely was much better and we were happy with that. Food was great as always. It is definitely the coolest decorated location. The one off Dallas highway is more modern, this one is more "fiesta" styled. Overall it was good, and we were happy.

Love it! The employees here are pretty perfect! We are having such a good time here. The food is delicious- somehow a quarter popped up in my hand. Must've been the restaurant. Magicians work here. I really have no clue how a quarter got in my hand.

We waited an hour and 15 minutes for a party of 10. Waited another 30 minutes to order drinks and 30 more minutes to order our food. Really?? Not cool. Gotta say the food was incredible, but the wait was too much. Great food does not excuse terrible service. Manager definitely didn't care and that's why we won't be back to this location.

Food is basic at best. Service is horrendous. Unfortunately my wife keeps brushing off these issues because the restaurant is close to our house. Final straw came recently after our son was born. Instead of exposing the dinner crowd to our infant son who recently found his voice, we decided to get a to go order. I tried to call the order in over a period of 45 mins. Phone was always busy. Read a few of the other reviews and realized this is commonplace not the exception. Cool, they will not get my business anymore. Wife is on board and we will wave as we pass by for future Mexican meals.
