El Tapatio's Mexican Restaurant

My husband and I went for lunch on this rainy day. We showed up a bit after 11, and was promptly greeted and sat at a clean table. We were greeted by two other employees as they passed by, Nd one brought our chips and salsa. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We ordered a order of guacamole, which was awesome! A order of cheese dip with jalapenos on the side, and the dip was perfectly hot and didn't do that weird clump thing I've seen some dips do after they sit at the table for too long. We shared the lunch fajitas, and the portions was mind blowing! They gave us enough so that we had left overs, and phenomenal portions of veg, rice and beans, and the steak, chicken, and shrimp was delicious and hot. Our cups never went empty, and when the time came for our check she was there and smiling and brought me a tea to go. Awesome place, and awesome environment. The music was more upbeat and modern than the normal music you hear in Mexican restaurants, which was a great change up and great music. My husband and I will be back for another great lunch date! And for all of that, it was only $30.00 for our meals and appetizers, and a tip she deserved!

This was a good American Mexican restaurant. The vegetarian fajitas we're great. The vegetables were not overcooked and the seasoning was perfect. The chips and salsa were average. Not bad at all and nothing spectacular. Our waiter was amazing! He spent just the right of time with us and helped us with our meal. I will definitely put it on my list of places to eat again. :)

Good food, average prices. They have a few unique dishes, like the fajita chimichanga. The amount of steak in it is very generous. Definitely the best in the Temple area. A few places in neighboring Villa Rica have a bit more flavor, but for the price and location, it's pretty hard to beat.

So pleased every time we get to come through here. Have tried most of the menu and can’t pick a favorite. It’s all so great. Nicely stocked bar too. Three flat screens for sports news and weather. Weather a weekend cocktail, a fast lunch or a first date; wonderful wait staff, delightful dining and oh so yummy cocktails.

Stopped in while on a road trip. They had fast and friendly service. They care about you leaving happy. Also have a very solid salsa
