While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco's commitment to fresh, authentic food has not. The food is great, but the portions are too small for the price. the reason for four stars. We have been here so many times and never had any issues. Food always tasted great, chicken was juicy and always seasoned well. It tasted fresh and delicious . But our only complaint is the portions that are way too small, we left hungry, it used to be cheaper and the portions were bigger, but not anymore. We have ordered their “new loco burrito grillers “and the burritos were really small . El pollo loco definitely needs to improve that . Note: If you download their app you get good offers. It definitely helps if you are a regular customer.
First time trying El Pollo Loco and I was pleasantly surprise. The chicken was delicious. I got the 3 piece box. It can with 2 sides. I got 2 legs and suppose to be a thigh, but it was more like the back not sure, but it definitely wasnt a thigh. I got one rice and one fries. The rice serving was super small and the french fries were cold. I was disappointed about that. Wish I had gotten 2 rice instead. The rice was good. I also got a bowl. Came out to be about $24. I gave this a 4 star because it was delish!
Love the chain dislike this location, I keep coming here because it’s convenient and healthy considering it being fast food. But every time I come I have to double check my order before I leave due to lack of attention to detail. Apart from brown guacamole, soggy fries and forgetting my salad dressing. They never give cutlery and napkins. I shouldn’t have to ask for these items. Crazy chicken management need to step up your game
Stay away from this location. Everything is done in drive thru whether your picking up or curbside. Waited over 30 min to pick up an order that was supposedly ready but wasn't filled til I pulled up to window.Food: 3/5
I ordered online to pick up coz there is a long line for the drive through. Followed instruction to pick up at the counter. Door hand written says….. What did I do? Well, I ended up waiting at the long line. Then, at the window there he goes a man standing withe no greetings at all and looked like already tired. He looked at me crazy and I had to tell him repeatedly that I ordered online. I had three stars at least for the female person who spoke to me over the microphone but had to changed to a one star with the man’s attitude.
Best fast food chicken out there. I just love the unique taste to their chicken. Chicken was soft and flavorful. The flour tortillas that came with my order was fresh and not a hard part on it. Lots of sides to choose from and prices were reasonable.
8 pm I bought a chicken family feast last night. The chicken was dry, cold, crispy. As if it had been cooked for a long time and was just there on the grill. It's ok for me to pay even if it's expensive as long as the food is fresh and delicious.
Well they removed fried chicken so we got the roasted chicken or grilled but it was just the same as getting a chicken from the store but a bit more meat and trimmed.Food: 3/5
Why are y’all so awesome? I come here and my order is always complicated but they always get it right and they’re very generous with the salsas too. Customer service here is awesome too 10/10
Ok I never leave bad reviews but I can’t. Last time I came, there was a hair in my food, whatever I shrugged it off, it’s nasty but it happens. But today I got my order and the salsa in the bag was open and spilled all over my food. Then when I was eating the burrito I bit something hard and it was a whole bone! this is just not ok, luckily I didn’t choke on it.
