The brunch was good at 1149, however the young man who seated us was kind of snooty , asked if we had a reservation. When we said no he made sure to tell us that normally w/o reservation you’d have to sit at the bar. It’s Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, you know they’re going to be slow even w/ the cold and drizzle.. What do you know, he found us a table. Lots of empty ones. Then when I asked about dressing for the antipasto station he told me how this was already dressed and that was already dressed. I noted that the lettuce was not. He went off to the kitchen to check w/ the chef. Not a moment later out comes a bus boy w/ oil and vinegar. That worked. Why not just say, “let me check on that for you?” Had he looked at my plate he would have seen that I had only chosen undressed vegetables.
There is never a time when it’s ok to belittle paying customers.

My partner and I have been twice. We like the service and the food. First time I had the meat loaf which was amazing. Second time had their shrimp dish. It was delicious. But each time took home a doggy bag.

Great food. Great service. I would highly recommend Eleven Forty Nine for brunch on Sunday morning (make reservations ahead) or dinner.

Beautiful setting, great lighting, fireplaces, great food. Friendly, accommodating staff, so helpful, they ALL want you to have a great night, from the front door to the kitchen and back again.

I went for brunch. A great deal - all you can eat featuring the usual breakfast staples, a pancake and French toast bar, salad bar, and a never ending dessert table. There were also chances for customizable omelettes or eggs Benedict. And the option for bottomless mimosas, without which brunch would not be complete. The service was fine but what do you need with a buffet.
