Bistro 22

I highly recommend this place. Inside there isn’t a ton of seating but i’ve also never had to wait to sit (which surprises me!) which lends itself nicely to a nice intimate meal. The environment is perfect for a date night or celebration (not bright lights) but prices are still pretty reasonable. Make sure to look up - very neat decor too! Or you can choose to sit outside and people watch in the heart of Garden City Shopping. And food has always been awesome. I don’t believe part of their regular offering, but they even worked with us to host a baby shower here outside regular hours and they did a fantastic job! A+ for service, food, and environment. A favorite!

We were looking for a place midway between Boston and Connecticut to meet for a family birthday lunch, and took a chance on Bistro 22. The decor was simple and sophisticated, and the food was excellent. Beginning with Risotto Balls over marinara for our appetizers and continuing through four different and delicious entrees, finally ending with some delightful desserts, we had a meal to remember. The service was pleasant and knowledgeable, and we felt as if we could take our time. We will make a point of returning to Cranston again to enjoy this cozy dining spot. Can't wait to have lunch on the patio in the Spring!

Had a family dinner here recently. I ordered the chicken milanese over greens and I also got to try my boyfriend’s order, scallops over risotto. Half of our meal components were off; most notably under seasoned of just basic salt and pepper. My salad was really good and the lemon honey vinaigrette was amazing but my chicken Milanese (cooked well and crispy) needed some hit of salt and pepper right out of the fryer preferably. The scallops in my boyfriend’s dish was absolutely delicious but the risotto was again under seasoned and kind of cold. I loved the fresh baked bread and herb butter but it wasn’t brought to us like everyone else. We had to ask for it once our entrees arrived. Also, while we didn’t pay for our meal, it must be noted that this place is pricey. My meal was $20 and my boyfriend’s meal was $27. We had 7 people there for dinner and our bill was well over $200. I would probably go there again but not immediately.

A convenient location for lunch after a busy day of shopping. There is a good food selection and fairly priced, though my grilled cheese was just okay. The wine, though, was excellent and I enjoyed the ambiance. The staff was very friendly. I'll go back, just try a different entree.

We needed a late night bite to eat.... and had our 5 year old grandson with us! We were visiting the area and looking for healthy menu options and a kid friendly atmosphere!.... at 8:30 on a Saturday night! We found it at Bistro 22! Super friendly, our server Brittany was not only fun but excellent at what she does! She had our grandson equipped with crayons and a beverage in record time, she put his order in 1st and whenever she visited the table she engaged him in fun conversation! Our meals were excellent! If this Bistro was in our neighborhood in PA we would be regulars! It was a perfect ending to our day! 😊
