Gracie's

Everything about this restaurant was amazing. Every plate was just as delicious as the next. The service was spectacular. It is pricey, but I think the price matches the quality of the food and the service. Definitely would recommend for a special occasion or just a really nice date.

Me and my girlfriend celebrated our birthday here and they made us feel very special. From the cool little stars on the table and happy birthday day card, to the champagne toast and birthday candles the experience was top notch. The food was fantastic. We end up getting the 9 course Chef tasting and every dish was like magic in our mouths. You could tell that they put a lot of thought in each dish and the out come was truly mind blowing. Would definitely come back and eat here again.

I am terribly disappointed with Gracie’s. Although the ambiance was lovely and the food was delicious, the service was terrible. We started at the bar while we waited for the rest of our group. It took forever to get a drink although it was not busy. After our party of 10 was seated in a lovely private room, we sat for over 3 1/2 hours, NOT by choice!! Drinks never came. Bottles of wine that were ordered were not corked. Other items we asked for such as butter, water and even our check just weren’t delivered. Many servers came in and out and NONE of them delivered even after gentle reminders! I would expect more from Gracie’s.

Let me start by saying my husband and I moved here in 2003 from Boston. His coworker suggested we go to Gracie's when he asked for a good restaurant recommendation. Back then Gracie's was a small, intimate place on Atwell's Ave. We instantly fell in love! For young newlyweds it was a little pricey but we decided it would be our go to place for special occasions. Over the years we've tried other restaurants in the Providence area but none have lived up to the food, service and overall exceptional experience we always had at Gracie's. When the moved to their current location I remember thinking to myself that one day we would host a special celebration there - and we did. My husband's 40th birthday was held in the private room downstairs and the entire planning process and party itself were above and beyond! I never take the time to write such long reviews, but after our dinner last night and 15 years of dinning at Gracie's I had to take the time to sit down and give my praise. Five stars!!! P.S. The cookies left in the car by the valet drivers is a sweet surprise. It's the little things that count. Thank you. :)

The service here is impeccable, matching perfectly with the incredible food they create. 7 course Chef’s Tasting blew my mind and the non alcoholic pairings were outrageously delicious. Not enough words to describe the amazing experience I have every time I set foot into Gracie’s. Reservations are a must but EVERYTHING on the menu is a must try.
