Drinks, bar, and service is very good. The food is very poor. With a very small menu (4 entrees), you'd think each one would be perfected. I ordered the pork belly, which was extremely overcooked to the point it was leathery. My wife had the steak frites, and the sirloin was a very poor cut in addition to being undercooked. For cocktails, a great place, but for dinner, i would go someplace else.

This could have easily been a 5 star review. The menu is one of the most interesting I've ever seen. Makes you want one of everything. Service was fast and attentive. The reason for 2 instead of 5 stars is that the air vents in the ceiling overhead were disgustingly filthy. It doesn't take much to vacuum them out once a month and these looked like they hadn't been cleaned ever. Filthiness in a restaurant is unacceptable no matter how wonderful everything else is. I'd definitely come back and revisit this review but I'll look up before I sit down.

This place is so great. We go pretty regularly, and the food never disappoints. Not only that, but the service is wonderful. I could go on and on about how great the staff is.
Quick story: We went for Mother's Day brunch and they had just sold out of the thing I ordered. I was bummed, but ordered something else. Halfway through our meal, the chef came out and said he heard I didn't get to have what I wanted, so he scrounged up enough to make a half-order on the house.
We have a 1 year-old, and they're always so great about getting her food out as soon as we get there so she doesn't get grumpy. Where some restaurants get a little eye-rollish when you walk in with a baby, these people love on her the whole time. The quickest way to a mom's heart is by loving her children!

Only come to cook & brown for special occasions because its an easy 100 dollar dinner for two. But I have never had food that wasn't delectable. Had the white wine risotto tonight and i would like that to be the last thing i eat before I die. Can I have the recipe?? Also its the only place I know that has liver pate which is a favorite of mine.
