Food is interesting enough. Menu for brunch lists entries which are then served as half portions and that makes it a "tapas experience." Actually makes if $25 to get bacon and eggs is what it makes it. Surly staff, replete with huffing and eye-rolling, make it seem as though this precious half-breakfast is an elite privilege, and that you don't really deserve it. I live across the street and was intrigued by the foot traffic on the weekends in the morning. I can only assume this is due to a former greatness. Our five dollar coffee came in a mug that was stained, from a brewing equipment that had clearly not been cleaned for several months, based on the intense bitterness of it - it was completely undrinkable. It's a nice location and an interesting building for a premium experience. But the only thing premium about it is the price. Please, release the property to create the potential for an establishment that is an actual asset to the community?

This is a good place for a date or a ladies brunch - as long as you’re not in a hurry. It wasn’t packed to the brim and I saw plenty of employees walking around, but I found the speed of service to be incredibly slow. Nonetheless, it has a really hip yet comfortable vibe, and all of the small plates we tried were pretty good (buffalo style deviled eggs, asparagus benedict, curry chips, and lox). I also had a tasty and unique cocktail. I wasn’t super impressed, but I would give this place another try.

The food was tasty and the service was friendly. We definitely enjoyed the atmosphere as well! Tucked off near the water side if North Main Street in Providence Milk Money is a great place for tappas style dining.
We would have rated this higher however when we ordered the "Daily Bread" course we were not informed that it came with Bacon, which would have changed our minds on placing the order. For someone who is a vegetarian or does not eat pork for any reason not informing the patrons that a meal that would not normally include pork has it is something that should definitely be known. The waitress was very understanding when she saw that we did not finish the plate and offered us a refund.
We would give it another try in the future, it seems that the menu changes frequently.

It grieves me to write a one-star review of Milk Money - or any place. I never want to unfairly rate a place. But unfortunately the brunch experience we had was so rude from both the host and wait staff that I have to write this in an attempt to have them listen.
1. When we checked in for our reservation and were told that we needed to wait (not in itself a problem for us, as we are happy to wait a few min), the host told us that they "couldn't waste a table on us" because the number in our party had changed slightly. I'm sorry, but this is not the right way to frame the issue. Please, do not ever tell this to guests again. It sets the completely wrong tone.
2. After we were seated and requested coffee, we were told we had to wait because "there weren't any clean mugs." The coffee then served was cold, as if it had been waiting for a while.
3. We knew that this was a place where plates came out as they were ready, which is fine - but inexplicably, half of the table got their brunch entrees at a normal time and half had to wait another 30 minutes. This was unacceptable. No one wants their food to be cold and no one wants to watch others eat while waiting this long.
4. One person in our party ordered eggs, bread and sausage. The eggs came out first, and she wanted to eat them with the other two components. Pretty standard brunch order. When she asked the server if it was possible for the kitchen to keep the eggs warm while the other items were being prepared, the server shrugged and said that she could try but couldn't make any guarantees. She also said "it's a small kitchen" as if this request was unfair to put on them. Who wants to eat plain eggs? Yet this is what ended up happening, as the rest of the food for one person came out 20 min later.
5. Our order of bread as an appetizer and side of potatoes literally came out as we were requesting the check.
This was regrettable and avoidable. No one wants to go out to eat and be stressed. No one wants to spend their time wondering what's going on with the servers and kitchen. Please do better, Milk Money.

Small plate breakfast didn't impress me, nor did the food. You get an egg, then 20 mins later 2 little pieces of bacon, then 15 minutes later toast. When you are fed up and ready to leave your fruit cup arrives? Oh and terrible parking. Something like 10 spots in their parking lot, otherwise street parking. Only positives were the cute decor and serving plates, etc. Waitress wasn't pleasant either, kind of snippy and sarcastic. Sorry, just wasn't a nice, cheerful, relaxing weekend breakfast experience at all.
