579 Benefit Street Restaurant

Went to 579 for Mother’s Day. I ordered a lobster pasta special for 26 dollars. Lobster and Shrimp were hard and over cooked. I ate a few bites and couldn’t eat it. Our waitress never asked if everything was okay and did not ask any questions when I did not want it wrapped. Being Mother’s Day, I did not want to make a scene, I was there to enjoy my family. On the positive side, my husband had a steak that was to die for. My other complaint is that the valet interrupted our dinner because it had died down and he wanted to go home. He should have just left our keys at the front desk, but he was looking for a tip. Definitely not Chardonnays...

Excellent food and nice cozy tables. Cocktails they have are unique,tasty, and hit the spot properly! Serving Staff are very friendly and it looks like they actually enjoy their jobs. I would've given 5 stars but the Wife's burger was over cooked. Parking lots are tiny but they do offer valet parking which we were forced to do since I couldn't find an open spot. Recommend it highly!!!

Excellent local restaurant. Good drinks and food specials, friendly and prompt service. The Pizza Melba desert is fantastic!

This place has excellent food. I love the cooks specials, always tasty. The atmosphere is very soothing and comfortable. We eat in the bar area, it's usually a middle aged crowd, the bar staff is very attentive and they want to keep the customers happy..check for the daily specials.

We went on Valentine's day night for dinner - it was excellent, great parking, handicap friendly . The Food was delicious and drinks we're tremendous. Prices were more than reasonable for drinks and food. Our waiter Danny was outstanding with very quick service. The restaurant was gorgeous inside. We're looking forward to going back to try their "Wine Enthusiast night"- free bottle of house wine with any 2 entrees.
